Strengths-Based Life

A “strengths-based” life means the more time a person spends doing positive things that he or she excels at, the less time he or she devotes to anger, physical pain, sadness, stress, and worry.

In America, less than half of the population reports being able to put their strengths to good use, with this dismal figure being highest among those with less education and lower incomes.

But this figure does not mean that there’s no hope. In fact, researchers have interpreted these 50 years of findings in a “strengths-based” way.
