A new device is showing changes in port wine stains after laser therapy.
Four patients underwent five laser treatments and the results were compared to the port wine stain changes. The device uses spatial frequency domain imaging which shows a great deal of promise for skin care.
Lasers in Surgery and Medicine published the findings online on Aug. 21.
