Lightweight sneakers like Nike and Skechers GOrun shoes promise toned legs.
It is my personal opinion and that of some health and sports professionals that for toning, people should focus mostly on diet and exercise. But if you are a competitive runner, lightweight sneakers do help to some degree.
However, I encourage serious runners to try it for themselves to see. If there’s not a noticeable difference in leg tone, they will still have a greatly engineered shoe that makes for better running if used occasionally to strengthen their lower legs. New runners should stick to more traditional running shoes that offer more support before training their way up to lightweights.
