Flying? Wear Sunscreen

Make sure to wear sunscreen anytime you fly.

That’s because planes enter into a thinner ozone layer as they increase in elevation; therefore, the ultraviolet rays are stronger.

A sunscreen of at least 30 is in order as well as a jacket, long pants, and sunglasses. Planes usually are cold, so a light jacket should be fine even in summer months.

Also, take advantage of the shade and pull it down to block a portion of the rays.
