Fat’s Link to Chronic Inflammation

A large amount of evidence shows that excess fat—especially visceral fat—harms you.

It causes a poorly functioning metabolism and weakens the immune system. Evidence also shows that besides the weakening of the immense system, excess weight also spurs chronic inflammation.

Unless the near futures brings with it an advanced technology that makes being overweight a safe alternative, you want to get and/or keep your weight down.
