Dry skin happens all year round, not just winter. Moisturizers and humidifiers help nourish the skin from the outside, but skin receives nourishment from the inside, too.
A lot of people claim that one coconut water health benefit is that it helps cure dry skin because coconut juice is heavy with electrolyte-concentration. However, the benefits of coconut electrolyte-concentration are better derived from the eating of actual fresh coconut than the sipping of coconut juice mixed with water.
So by all means add fresh coconut to your diet, but continue to use skin creams that help fight hydration via antioxidants as well.
